Earned the Rosé 2023

Vintage 2023.  

We've named this wine after our motto:  "Rosam quae meruit ferat - She who earns the rose shall bear it."  At graduation, Sweet Briar College students receive not only a diploma, but also the rose they have earned.  

In 2019, as part of our focus on sustainability and agricultural enterprises, we planted grapes on our beautiful campus, situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  This rosé  wine comes to you from our 2023 merlot harvest. 

Produced and bottled by Virginia Wineworks, Charlottesville, VA, especially for Sweet Briar College Farm, Sweet Briar, VA.

ABV: 11.8%

We are excited to share that we can now ship our wine to Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and within Virginia! To make sure everything arrives safely, please order in multiples of 6 bottle (6, 12, 18...etc.). If your order doesn't match this guideline, we will contact you and potentially refund as needed. Please note: An adult 21+ must be present at delivery to receive the package. UPS may refuse delivery if no one is available to sign.
